An Evening with Sara Floyd, Master Sommelier & Co-Founder of Luli Wines

We’re thrilled to welcome Sara Floyd, Master Sommelier and Co-Founder of Luli Wines, for a special evening exploring the distinctive wines of California’s Santa Lucia Highlands.

Sara Floyd has built a remarkable career in the wine world. In 2001, she co-founded Swirl Wine Brokers in San Francisco, developing a portfolio spanning California, Washington, Oregon and Europe, while also championing emerging wine regions from Greece and Macedonia to Switzerland and Hungary. Her accomplishments as a businesswoman and wine professional are impressive in their own right—but Sara is also a Master Sommelier, and the tenth woman in the world to earn the prestigious title.

In 2007, Sara partnered with the Pisoni Family to launch Luli Wines, with a shared vision of producing high-quality, approachable wines that capture the character of the Santa Lucia Highlands. Today, Luli focuses almost exclusively on this special growing region, producing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah and Rosé.

Luli’s philosophy is rooted in long-standing relationships with sustainable vineyard growers, many of whom are lifelong friends. Fruit is hand-harvested and handled with a gentle touch in the cellar, including careful sorting, gentle pressing, native-yeast fermentation and French oak aging.

Join us for an intimate and engaging evening with Sara as she guides us through a selection of Luli wines, sharing the stories of the vineyards, the Santa Lucia Highlands, and the journey that brought these wines to life.
